Osimhen celebrates first Serie A goal with #EndPoliceBrutality shirt
Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, has scored his first goal as a Napoli player in Serie A.
Osimhen netted his first goal for Napoli with a superb finish against Atalanta in the 43rd minute.
After scoring, the Edo-born player held up a T-shirt with the inscription, “End Police Brutality in Nigeria”.
The match which ended 4-1 against Atalanta, saw Hirving Lozano score the first and second goals for Napoli, while Matteo Politano sent the third into the net.
Sam Lammers gave the Gasperini-led team their only goal in the game.
Recall that Osimhen had tweeted in support of #EndSARS protests which have been rocking several states in Nigeria.
Napoli paid French club, Lille up to 80million euros ($94.6 million) to bring Osimhen to southern Italy on a five-year deal.
